PREVENTING BURNOUT
Pastor Fenton Moorhead
James 5:17, I Peter 5:7, 1 Kings 19:1-15

... if you look in your bulletin under Care
Ministries, I believe it's the first page in, we
provide a lot of things to help people deal with their
lives. The first one we see is a Couple
Communications Workshop, so that's the first thing you
see, how to communicate with your spouse.
And then next, When Living Hurts. Sometimes
depression is God's way of telling us that something
in our life needs to change. On Tuesday, June 30th,
at 6:45 p.m. in our chapel we will address issues
about depression and when living hurts. And Pastor
Jim Moorhead will moderate the discussion with a panel
of professional Christian counselors, who will share
with us ways we can acknowledge and manage depression.

deal with real struggles of life.

you'd like to follow along.

characters in the Old Testament. And yet James,
chapter 5, verse 17 says, "Elijah was a person just
like us."
The story is told, I don't know if it's mythology

boxer, championship boxer, Mohammed Ali was flying on
an airplane once, and he refused to put on his seat
belt, he would n ...
