... would be ten plus, hallelujah, praise God. Even though I'm just a common man, because of
God's redemptive plan, I can enter the Holy of holies, right into God's very presence. That's what our
message is about today. This has been a series about Hope, there is hope. God doesn't give up, God said
that "He began a good work in us, and He will carry it to completion." The journey of our lives, God is
going to work in every event and every circumstance, even in our mistakes. God doesn't waste or hurt, God
works in our lives in wonderful, wonderful ways.
I've been so touched in my own heart these days, about just the goodness of God, how good God
is. And when I focus on that, when the difficulties of life come, I tend to blow them off. I tend to feel that
this isn't anything, it's a problem, it's a difficulty, but it really isn't anything, because of the goodness of God,
God's goodness. And God has just so blessed me to be able to focus on that, and to bring me back to that
over, and over, and over again.
I guess my Dad really helped me a few weeks ago, after he had the surgery, or right before he had
the surgery, and
he just said, "I'm just so thankful to God," and he didn't complain, even though he was going to lose his leg.
"God has just been so good to me," he said. I can't get those words out of my heart.
I would hope that as people run into me, they would sense that I really believe in the goodness of
God, and I'm thankful to God, and because of that, there would be a kind of witness there. That they would
be drawn toward the kingdom of God. Let's stand together, we're going to read the scripture at the top of
the outline, or in your Bible at Jeremiah 29:11-13, our theme verse for this year. And we're taking this
verse apart. Last week we talked about Hope For A Passion ...
