How to Become a Visionary Person

II Cor. 5:7 "We live by faith, not by sight."

"Faith sees beyound the obvious."

"You don't get to choose whether or not to have any problems;
you do get to choose how you will approach them!"

WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SPIES? THE REQUIREMENTS FOR
LEADERSHIP SERE IDENTICAL! WHY A DIFFERENT RESPONSE?

God had led them there to give them the land of promise. God had
already proven himself to their fathers and to them by redeeming
them out of Egypt. Why the lack of faith?

They focused on the greatness of their problems rather than the
greatness of God!

I. TEN FEARFUL EXAGGERATE PROBLEMS.

Numbers 13:27-28,31-33 They gave Moses this account: "We went
into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk
and honey! Here is its fruit. BUT the people who live there are
powerful, and the cities are fortified and very large.... We
CAN'T attack those people; they are stronger than we are." And
they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land
they had explored. They said, "The land we explored devours
those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great
size... We seemed like GRASSHOPPERS in our own eyes, and we
looked the same to them."

1. It's impossible, hopeless, paralysis of analysis.

2. God is powerless to bring this about. Where is faith? unable
to do anything. "There's something wrong with every good idea."
