Galatians 6:6-10
If you have your Bible, please turn to Galatians chapter 6. This week and next week we'll finish the book of Galatians. Now I want to ask you a question. Be honest! How many in here have ever gotten a speeding ticket, can I see your hand? How many in here have never gotten a speeding ticket, can I see your hand? Liars! (laughter). How many in here have never been speeding? (laughter). Okay, you just didn't get a ticket, but you were guilty (laughter). You know, most of us probably would say, when it comes to the speed limits; we think that's a good thing. You know, if it says 55, we may think, Well, man, that's a better road. I can do 65 or 70. But, overall wouldn't you say speed limits are a good thing? Laws about speed on the road, it's a good thing.

And sometimes laws can get changed. Sometimes speed limit laws can get changed. You remember it used to be 55 on the freeway, and then they've increased it to like 85. Sometimes I tell Debbie, I said, ''Ah-ah, I think it's more than that.'' No, I think is it 70 or 75. Seventy five is all right, good. Well, eighty-five, I'm still within the window. But, I ran across some laws that seem rather strange, but these are actual laws on the books in different places.
Did you know in Samoa, it's illegal to forget your wife's birthday? (laughter). It's like that at my address too. It's illegal to forget your wife's birthday. In San Francisco, it's illegal for anyone classified as ugly to walk down any street (laughter). I don't know what Larry would do, but anyway, can't walk down the street. In Indian Wells, California, it's illegal to drink intoxicating cement (laughter). You talk about a bowel obstruction! You drink an intoxicating cement ...
