Malachi, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zachariah, Matthew
Day 274 October 1 - Malachi 1, 2, 3, and 4
The book of Malachi is the final tick of the Old Testament clock and the expected tock will not sound for over 400 years. The prophet Malachi was the penman of this final book of the Old Testament. The name ''Malachi: implies ''My Messenger'' and is fitting for his writings. He was God's last and final messenger under the Old Testament economy and the consummation of that biblical dispensation. The New Testament will launch us into a brand new economy and an entirely new dispensation, one of Grace and not Law. In this book we will read about the ''Two Messengers'' that were yet to come, but in coming they would shed new light and life upon the nation of Israel. The two coming messengers were none other than, John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.

Even though they would experience 400 years of silence, they did have the word of God and they could rely upon it and read it.
I - The Reproved Priests (Malachi 1)
II - The Rebuked People (Malachi 2)
III - The Relevant Prediction (Malachi 3)

Point to Ponder
The prophet was fearless in his truthfulness and his attentiveness as to the sinfulness of the Jews. He forewarned them that there was a dis ...
