Genesis 40:1-23
Have you ever been disappointed because someone did not do what they promised they would do? People disappoint us because:
- They forget what they promised to do.
- They put their own desires and needs first.
- They seek their own well-being ahead of others.
Paul mentioned the problem in his letter to the church in Philippi. Philippians 2:4 Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interest of others. M. Henry - ''We must be concerned not only for our own credit, and ease, and safety, but for those of others also.''
Philippians 2:20 I have no one like Timothy, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.
Timothy cared as much about those beleivers as he did himself.
People disappoint us because they are more concerned first and foremost about themselves than they are someone else.

:4 Joseph continued to serve others in spite of the fact that he was in prison unjustly. which again shows his integrity. He didn't wait for his circumstances to change, he served where he was. He served not knowing if his circumstances would ever change.
These two men were in prison for some time, probably several weeks, under the care of Joseph before they had their dreams.
