PRAYER IS ALL ABOUT DEPENDANCE ON GOD, RATHER THAN BEING
SELF-SUFFICIENT.

JESUS MADE TIME TO PRAY. A FIRST PRIORITY, NOT LAST RESORT.

Mark 1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark,
Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place,
where He PRAYED.

Luke 5:15 ... The news about JESUS spread all the more, so that
crowds of people came to hear Him and to be healed of their
sicknesses. BUT JESUS OFTEN WITHDREW TO LONELY PLACES AND
PRAYED.




MAR 14:35 Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and
prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him.

MAR 14:36 "Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for
you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you
will."



WHY DID JESUS PRAY?

JOH 5:19 Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth,
the Son can do nothing by Himself; He can do only what He sees
his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also
does. JOH 5:30 By myself I can do nothing....
JOH 8:29 The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me
alone, for I always do what pleases him."

JOH 4:34 "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who
sent me and to finish his work.
