Colossians 3:1-11
When I get dressed in the morning, it is pretty much habit. I look at what pants I want to wear (always a good place to start). Jeans or jeans. Then shirt. Is it a flannel day? Or do I show off my guns? Eventually, it's all done, trying to look presentable, and about 10 minutes after I start, I am ready for the day! For others, the process is a whole lot more deliberate - choosing the night before, lay out the clothes in order of putting on. Some may have even taken pictures of favorite outfits and then review them. Then wake up, get ready, and put on the well chosen clothes, only to then not 'feel' it and grab something else. Seek the things above...set your minds on things above. I think all of us would say, ''yep, good idea.'' But then, when we actually try to do that very thing after church, in fact during the message, we find ourselves in a difficult predicament. There is a disconnect between seeking the things above, sett ...
