TWO UNBELIEVABLE, UNIMAGINABLE, SADISTIC AND TRAGIC MURDERS THIS
WEEK IN HOUSTON LEFT MUTILATED BODIES AND A 1 YEAR OLD GIRL
CLINGING OVERNIGHT TO THE DEAD BODY OF HER MOTHER. DID YOU WEEP
OR HAVE YOU TOO BECOME HARDENED BY THE NIGHTLY ROUND-UP OF BAD
NEWS.
YET, AGAIN, THE WORD "EVIL" OR "SIN" WAS NOT MENTIONED AS A
CAUSE!
THE SCRIPTURES WARN US...
EPH 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but
against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers
of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in
the heavenly realms.
THIS MORNING, I WANT US TO PICK UP ON A CLICHE OF THE WORLD THAT
HAS BEEN USED TO DESCRIBE A SINFUL ACT AND MAKE LIGHT OF IT..
"CHEAP THRILL." A ACT THAT BRINGS MOMENTARY PLEASURE THAT
APPARENTLY COSTS LITTLE, BUT IN REALTY COSTS MUCH,...
THERE'S A HIDDEN PRICE TAG.
