Identity of Christ
Stephen Whitney
Matthew 22:41-46
Who is Jesus Christ? Throughout history there are many different views about who the person called Jesus Christ really is because he was not like anyone who ever lived before or has lived since.

Mormonism - Jesus is a spirit child of God created before man.
Islam - Jesus was a great prophet equal to Abraham and Moses.
Liberal - Jesus became the Son of God at his baptism and the divine nature was on him until he died on the cross.
Popular - Jesus was a moral teacher who left us an example to follow by caring about the needs of others.
C.S. Lewis - ''A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said wouldn't be a great moral teacher.
