Facts: Describe the social and cultural setting.

A) Describe Sychar, a town within Samaria and it being a shortcut to Galilee. Strict Jews would not take that route though shorter because they wanted nothing to do with Samaritans.

B) The historic struggle between Jews and Samaritans occurred when Israel territory was resettled by captives from other countries. The Samaritans brought with them their own religion and then fused it with the worship of Jehovah and Baal.

C) Explain the social aspects of women drawing water from the town well together.

D) The Samaritan woman was surprised by Jesus' request of her much less to drink from a Samaritan's cup.

1.0 What Does it Mean to be Racially Attractive?
1.1 A racially attractive person ACCEPTS others despite their racial difference.

A) Acceptance is seen as friendliness.

1. Your behavior is one of comfort not social awkwardness or discomfort.

2. Your normal personality is released.

B) Acceptance is seen in your authenticity-your truthful, genuine, and honest reception of the person.

1.2 A racially attractive person makes ACCOMMODATIONS for our differences.

A) They accommodate for and allow me to hold my personal view of my culture.

B) They accommodate for my personal pain borne from early bouts of prejudice.

C) They accommodate for my level of comfort and ease in forging ahead with cross-cultural relationships.

2.0 Can I Become Racially Attractive?
2.1 You were CHANGED by the cross of Christ.

Eph. 2:14-15-''For he [Christ] himself is our peace, who has made the two [Jew and Gentile] one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations....''
