1.0 We're Living in a Crazy World (Eph. 5:25)!
1.1 Look at some of today's realities.
A) Kids face legalization of marijuana, suicide bombers, bullying, and online terrorism.

B) Adults are facing financial crises, relational challenges, job stressors, parenting difficulties, and the list goes on.
1. To reduce stress and lighten their load some parents delegate.

Outsourcing Parenting: Get her to stop screaming at night via a five-day plan to adjust her schedule to yours ($350). Child-proof your home with expert latching, gating, locking, and lead-testing. 1.2 Families struggle because the needs are vast and great.
A) Needs are requirements that when unmet, you are incomplete and dissatisfied.

B) Needs are requirements that when fulfilled make you feel satisfied.

C) It takes godly wisdom to build a healthy and happy family.


Prov. 24:3-4-''By wisdom a house is built,?and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.''

1. Happy families are anchored to two practices-love and respect.


2.0 Two Practices That Make for a Happy Family.
2.1 Women need LOVE.

Note: To safeguard the family, Paul outlines to men (and particularly husbands) to be on guard against an inclination to abuse their authority and fail to love their wives.
