Some of you almost got excited in church for the very first time didn't you! BYOB?!
I read this week that in New York City there are 1.7 million dogs and nearly 8 million cats. Part of the challenge of being a cat owner in the Big Apple is that if your cat dies what do you do with it? Most don't have a backyard, and it's not legal to go to a local park and bury it. Then in the early evening, during the peak time for thieves and pickpockets, she would take a ride on the subway. She would sit near a set of doors, put the suitcase down next to her, and then pretend she wasn't paying attention. Inevitably, a thief would make his way next to her. When the train stopped, and the doors opened, the thief would quickly grab the suitcase and run.
The woman would rather unenthusiastically say, ''Stop thief! Stop!''
Wouldn't you love to see the reaction when that crook opened the suitcase? He did not get what he expected. Let me ask you something: Do you ever feel like, due to no fault of your own, that sometimes life hands you a dead cat? Figuratively, not literally of course. I mean, you were hoping for more, working for more, praying for more, even maybe deserving of more...but you opened it up, and there it was...a d ...
