According to a recent Gallup poll survey there are mixed reviews on Christians. For example:

85% of Americans self-identify as Christians.
5% of US adults classify as evangelicals
35% of US adults classify as born again, but not evangelical
37% are self-described Christians but are neither evangelical nor born again

In response to the poll George Gallup commented, ''While religion is highly popular in America, it is to a large extent superficial; it does not change people's lives to the degree one would expect from the level of professed faith.''

I don't think it is being harsh, unreasonable, or offensive to say that a Christian ought to act, dress, talk, and behave like a Christian. As Guy King said, ''The more Heavenly our character, the more earthly our conduct.''

Being a Christian is not just something we SAY with our LIPS; it is something we SHOW with our LIVES. Christianity is not merely something to be believed, but something to be behaved.

One of the evidences of a saved life is a life that lives by faith. In order to live by faith, there are times when we must STEP OUT that we can STEP IN to what God has for us.

Sadly enough, many of us like it in our ''Comfort Zone,'' to the point that we never step out in believing faith to see what the God of the Impossible can do IN us, FOR us, WITH us, and THROUGH us.
