How many of you have a favorite action hero? Most of us do. We not only like our spy movies and shows, we like our action hero's!

If you were honest, you would probably say that often when you're channel surfing and come across some old movie staring one of your favorite action hero's, you stop and watch it even if it's your one-hundredth time.

Whenever I come across one of the Alien movies, I have to stop and see what trouble Ellen Ripley is in, even though I already know that she's going to get out of it! Hey! She's Ellen Ripley! One thing I've learned over the years is that you don't want to mess with Ellen Ripley!! She won't let up, back up or give up!!

And add John Rambo to that list and Captain America and Iron Man and Wonder Woman a host of other action hero's.

But if you're looking for real action heroes,

don't look for Hollywood to produce them because all of their action heroes are fictitious. They are not real nor have they ever been real: Fictitious!!

But there is a place to find some real action heroes, heroes that you need to know and that your children and grandchildren need to know and they are not fictitious but factual and they're all found right here in the Word of God!

When you open up your Bible to the Old Testament you come across heroes like Moses, Abraham, David, Elijah, Rahab and Nahomi, and what about those three Hebrew children: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego to name a few!

Now THERE are some real action heroes we need to know!

And then when you open your Bible to the New Testament, you come across more real action heroes like Lois and Eunice, the original Peter, Paul and Mary! You can't leave out John and Stephen, the first Christian martyr. Those are the action heroes we need to get to know better!
