2 Chronicles 13- 2 Chronicles 36
Day 134 May 14 - 2 Chronicles 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17
King Abijah reigned in Judah for three years and he was embattled with Jeroboam the King of Israel. Let us not forget when we read about the kings and we read of a King of Israel, we are discussing the king of the northern tribes of Israel. If we are discussing a King of Judah, we are talking about the southern tribes of Israel, which included Judah and Benjamin.

King Abijah and the men of Judah gave out a shout to the Lord and they overcame the King of Israel and his army. The odds were two to one in favor of Jeroboam but God refused to let Judah fall to the evil King Jeroboam.

II - The Almighty that Favored (2 Chronicles 14)
III - The Adoration that Flowed (2 Chronicles 15)
IV - The Attempt that Failed (2 Chronicles 16)
V - The Atmosphere that Formed (2 Chronicles 17)

The Lord became angry with King Asa for failing to trust in his power rather than the power of Syria. In the end the king was smote with a foot disease and rather than asking the Lord to heal him, he relied upon the physicians to help him. The p ...
