Genesis, we come to the end of the line of patriarchs.

as men and women called of God. The one outstanding
feature the New Testament highlights about all these
patriarchs is their great faith.
Hebrews 11 says:
(1) By faith Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice
(vs. 4)
(2) By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see

(3) By faith Noah . . .prepared an ark to the saving
of his house (vs. 7)
(4) By faith Abraham . . .looked for a city which
hath foundations, whose builder and maker is
God (vs. 8, 10)
(5) By faith Sarah . . .was delivered of a child when
she was past age (vs. 11)
(6) By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau (vs. 20)
(7) By faith Jacob . . .blessed both the sons of
Joseph and worshiped (vs. 21)

Again, I find it interesting that God spends one
chapter of 31 verses describing the creation of the
universe, and 13 chapters and 449 verses telling the
story of Joseph. This tells me ...
