HOW TO ENTER THE ABUNDANT LIFE

Genesis 45:4-24
What is the greatest thing that ever happened in your
life? I mean, what is the greatest thing that will
have the longest, most positive impact on your life? I
can tell you what the greatest thing is that has ever
happened to you if you are saved: The greatest thing
that has ever happened to you was being born again,
getting saved, having your sins forgiven by Jesus
Christ and being filled by the Holy Spirit of God.
Nothing compares with getting saved. The greatest
moment in your life is the moment you invite Jesus
Christ into your heart to save you. Getting saved is
so fabulous that if it happens to you, you cannot
possibly forget it! You'll remember the moment of your
conversion for the rest of your life.
So you are saved now. Is that it? Is that the end? Not
at all! Getting saved, being forgiven of your sins, is
only the beginning of a wonderful new life. You see,
once you get saved God has some tremendous plans for
you as a Christian. Jesus not only gives you eternal
life when you get saved, He also gives you abundant
life.
John 10:10 Jesus said, "The thief cometh not but to
steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that
they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly."
Today I want to tell you how to enter into that
abundant life, once you have been forgiven of your
sins.
Genesis 45 shows us a beautiful picture of sinners
being forgiven and entering into a life of abundance
from a world of guilt and destitution.
