I was helping someone get some food from our small food pantry this past week.

We got to talking and I encouraged her to come to church.

She replied, ''I really should go. Maybe I'll come some day.''

I asked her: ''What stops you from coming?''

In our sermon today we are going to see that Jesus and his disciples get into a boat upon the Sea of Galilee and make a voyage to the ''other-side.''

We live in an age where the other-side is becoming much bigger and broader than it was when we were growing up. In past years many were raised in church and those on the ''other-side'' were much easier to identify.

This is not true in this age as the church has witnessed the exit of those deemed as ''millennials''. In past years we could easily identify those that were ''bound'' by the fetters of Satan, but that are has become much greyer in our age. If you are looking for the line of demarcation to be vile sin and egregious living, you are fooling yourself.

In our age Satan has placed his chains around those that have walked away from religion as a whole and they seek to find their own way. This crowd rejects the intolerance of Christianity and prefer to embrace the motto ''as lon ...
