Psalm 62:5
Psalm 62:5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved. 7 In God is my salvation and my glory; The rock of my strength, And my refuge, is in God. 8 Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah ?
It's not the end of the fast, it's the beginning of the glory! You've spent time in prayer and fasting. You have sought the Lord. You have cried out to Him. You've waited. You have deprived yourself of some of the creature comforts in order to follow Christ's commands. You have sown, so GET READY to REAP!
Today is a day of EXPECTATION. Whether you fasted or not, whether you fumbled more than you fasted, whether you feel like you failed to find the heart of God or not, you can still EXPECT. Why? Because there were seeds of hope planted in you. You are pregnant with expectation. God is getting ready to bring forth something good in your life. Because that is the God we serve. Today is a day where your HOPE is REKINDLED. Hope is the expectation of GOOD. When God is involved, you have a living hope. Because your trust is completely in Him, He will bring good out of everything. He is not about to let you down. He is not a God that disappoints. You didn't miss your appointment with the Great Physician, so He is not about to disappoint you. You were appointed for greatness, you were appointed for blessing, you were appointed for favor, you were appointed for healing, you were appointed for greater things! You can expect God to move, to speak, to answer, to respond, to bless, to deliver, to save, to heal, and to show up.
