DISPLAYING GOD'S GRACE AS A PARENT
Ephesians 6:4

are ever called upon to do as a Christian is that of
being a Parent. Being a parent is both a blessing and

expresses the fact that one of the greatest joys to
be experienced in life is that of raising children.
Psalm 127:3-5 "Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord:
and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

man; so are children of the youth.
Happy is the man that hath his quiver
full of them: they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies
in the gate."

children.
Jesus said, "Suffer the little children, and forbid them
not, to come unto me; for of such is the
kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 19:14)
Children are certainly a blessing.
Children are also a burden. Any parent that takes
the job of parenting seriously lives with a constant burden

is best for them; you want them to grow up to be happy,
productive, Christ-honoring people. Every decision you
make in life is governed by this goal of raising your
children to be all God wishes for them to be. That

that's why you take them places, give them things,
