Behold, how good and pleasant it is

when brothers dwell in unity!

These are the words of King David in Psalm 133.

Just before he was crucified, Jesus prayed...

[20] ''I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, [21] that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. John 17:20-21

The Apostle Paul pleads with God's people in 1 Corinthians 1:10;

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment.

Unity among Christians. Unity in the Church. This is a theme that runs throughout the Old Testament. Continues into the NT, is taught by Jesus and the apostles.

Jesus says, that the world will know that we are his disciples by the way we are unified... By the way we love one another.

Today, is our last week in a study on Spiritual Warfare.

Right now, as a church, we are in a season of rapid growth. We're still a small church. But just a few months ago, our church was about 50-60 people. Today, we likely have somewhere around 120.

We have continued to grow week after week. People have come to Christ, people have been baptized.

I say this, not to boast in ourselves... But simply to say that God is blessing our church in tremendous ways right now.

Our church has grown, yes.... And with growth, comes new people. New people means diversity.... Diversity often brings the potential for conflict.

As we've studied Spiritual Warfare. We have discussed that there are spiritual forces at play that want to stop the advancement of God's presence in our lives and in our world.

Those forces include a real enemy (Evil, Satan). But also our own s ...
