ANYONE WHO IS A CHRISTIAN IS RICH

Ephesians 1:7-10

I've said for 3 weeks now, "Anyone who is a
Christian is Rich." I hope you are beginning to
believe me. Tonight we are going to discover some
more reasons to believe that being a Christian
makes a man rich in things which money cannot buy.

I hope that many of us can begin to liquidate,
or convert, our spiritual inheritance into spiritual
buying power. Many Christians, though they are rich
in spiritual treasures. live like paupers in defeat,
discouragement, weakness, depression and worldliness.

Many Christians are like an elderly couple I
know of in Arnold who owned several acres of valuable
land at the intersections of Highways 55, 141 and
Jeffco Boulevard. It was the most valuable piece
of property in all of Arnold. Businesses were building
all around this property, but this old man and woman
chose to live in an old, run-down, tin-roofed farm
h se. They gardened and raised grapes. I understand
they were offered several millions of dollars for
their land more than once by developers, but they
would not sell. They chose to live like paupers
rather than to liquidate the inheritance and live
like kings. They could have made enough money to
buy 10, even 20, times the land they currently owned,
but they were too stubborn to change.

If you are in Christ, you have some priceless
spiritual treasures. Let's not live like paupers
when we are the children of the King.
