1 Corinthians 4:1-5
Did you bring your bible? Hold'em up and keep'em up. Jesus prayed for His disciples in John 17:17: 'Father sanctify them with the truth...Your Word is truth.'' 'Sanctify' means to 'set apart'. Before the truth sets you free, it sets you apart. It demands that you see differently, think differently, believe differently, and live differently than the rest of the world. The way that the truth sets you free is that it sets you apart. You cannot be set apart and will you will not be set free without this Word.

We want to hear from God so that we can honor God. We want His Word to set us apart so that we can be set free. Amen?
So, open your bible to 1 Cor. 4. Today we're going to talk about something I find extremely important and extremely relevant. ''How To Evaluate Your Pastor''. You may not find that all that interesting, but I sure do. Now, if it was up to me, I'd give you all kinds of ways of how I would want you to evaluate me and the job I'm doing. But it's not up to me. Aren't you glad of that? God tells us how to evaluate our pastors.

And as you participate in His church you are going to have a pastor, or in our case, pastors. And it's normal, natural, and perfectly ok to have thoughts, feelings, and opinions about your pastor. You can't help that. It's human. I've had some people from our church confess they cried the day they heard Dr. McAlpin was leaving. I've had others tell me they cried the day ...
