EVALUATE THE APPRECIATION OF YOUR LIFE INVESTMENTS

by Rick Ferguson

Scripture: MATTHEW

If you were asked to evaluate how you:
*make and manage your money
*spend your time
*spend your emotional and mental energy
*set your priorities
*make commitments
Would you be able to honestly say you are investing your life in
that
which is eternal and of real value? Or, are you investing your
life in things
that are going to be here today and gone tomorrow.

I want to suggest to you, if you want to determine your real
worth, add
up everything you have money cannot buy and death cannot take
away, and
then you will know how wealthy you really are.

I want you to evaluate how you are investing your life today.
Or to
state as Jesus did, I want you to evaluate where your treasure
really is
today. Because Jesus said, "Where your treasure is, there your
heart will be
also." (Mt. 6:21)

Where we are investing our lives in:
*time
*finances
*priorities
*mental energy
*schedules
*effort
is indicative of what is really happening in our hearts.
