WALKING BY FAITH
A STUDY OF HEBREWS 11

SERMON #6 WALKING BY FAITH: BUILDING
A FAMILY OF FAITH
HEBREWS 11:7

One of the primary concerns of every true disciple of Jesus
Christ is,
"How can I pass on a genuine Faith to my children?"
*How can I pass on a genuine Faith in Jesus Christ to my
children?
*How can I build godliness and character into my kids?
*How can I lead my children to know and love Jesus Christ with
all their
hearts?
We all know it is easy to keep your kids in church when they are
in
grade school. But if they don't develop a genuine Faith
commitment and
love for Jesus Christ, by the time they are in junior high and
high school,
their interest in church begins to weaken.
I believe it is God's desire that we raise up unto Him godly
children
who:
*love Him,
*seek Him,
*obey Him,
*worship Him.
I have been preaching a series of messages entitled "Walking By
Faith." 2 Cor. 5:7 says, "We walk by Faith, not by sight." And
I am
convinced one of the wonderful benefits and products of walking
by Faith
rather than by sight is that our children grow up walking by
Faith as well.
We pass on that Faith to them. Today, I want to show you how to
pass on
authentic Faith to your children. And our model or example of
this kind of
Faith is found in Noah, as we read of him in Heb. 11:7.
Find Heb. 11:7 as we read about Noah and learn from his example
about, "Building A Household Of Faith."
