Question: If I were to ask you, "What is the most essential,
critical,
important element of victorious Christian living?" How would
you answer the question? Is it ...
*Bible study,
*church attendance,
*Christian fellowship,
*prayer,
*baptism/Lord's Supper,
*worship,
*obeying the Ten Commandments and Golden Rule?

While all of these certainly are important--and I would never
discourage anyone from any of them--none of them define the most

essential, critical element of victorious living.

In fact, you can participate in and practice all of these
religiously and
still be living in constant defeat.

In fact, you can participate in and practice all of these and
be:
*living in sin
*separated from God
*empty on the inside
*abiding under the wrath of God

Ex: The Pharisees:
*studied the scriptures with reverence
*went to church daily (in temple and synagogues)
*prayed several times a day
*obeyed all the ceremonial laws
*upheld the Ten Commandments

And Jesus called them:
*hypocrites
*vipers
*white washed sepulchers
*children of the devil
