WALKING BY FAITH
A STUDY OF HEBREWS 11
SERMON #10: MAKING RIGHT CHOICES BY FAITH
HEBREWS 11:24-28
Question: Have you ever made a wrong choice in your life? A
choice or decision you have lived to regret? All of us have
made some
wrong choices in our lives.
Ex: I have had people tell me they chose the wrong:

*major,
*friends,
*career,
*spouse,
*church,
And all their lives, they had a sense of regret and guilt.
The fact is, all of us make many, many choices everyday of our
lives.
Some of those choices may seem somewhat insignificant.
Ex: Whether to eat Italian food or Mexican food for lunch, I

you want to spend an afternoon suffering from heartburn or gas!
But other choices we make are extremely significant and they
will
impact us for the rest of our lives, and often impact many
people around,
even after we are dead and gone.
Ex:
*Whom you marry,
*whether you stay married or choose divorce,
*your career,
*what church you join,
*remaining sexually pure until marriage,
*and the most important choice of your entire life, what you do
with Jesus Christ.
These types of decisions are very weighty and you will live with
the
consequences of them forever.
Pg. 1
This leads me to draw your attention to 3 truths related to
choice.
Truth #1: Choices are inseparably linked to consequences.
Ex: Tonya Zeien's father is a district judge in Phoenix. He said
the t ...
