God's Secret (8 of 13)
Volume 1: Great God, Messy Church
Bob Ingle
1 Corinthians 2:6-10

And sometimes you can go back in your mind and remember things said or done, and you think, ''I should have realized it then. I should have figured it out back there.'' But, for whatever reason, you didn't see it. You didn't catch on. But when the secret unfolded, you could go back and see all the clues you missed, and make sense of it.

I'll put them on you and tie them up. Serve you well on your wedding day.'' Missed clue #2. From then on, there was periodic laughter, and giggling like seventh grade girls about things I didn't understand. Missed clue #3. Three strikes and you're out.
So we get to a part of the ceremony where Jana and I kneel down on a small kneeler bench to pray together. As we are praying, I hear my very own mother behind me say, 'Oh Bobby, what have they done to you?' There was some sporadic laughter throughout the church. We were still clueless to what was happening. Later I found out that on the bottoms of my shoes they had placed large stickers that said 'Help Me'. Haha. Yeah, I don't talk to those guys anymore.
Secrets can be a good thing or a bad thing can't they? Well, today we're going to see that God held a tremendous secret for a long, long time. And no one outside of the Godhead fully knew or understood the details or implications o ...
