Revelation vs. Revolution: A revelation is a new understanding, a revolution is a new mind; a revelation is a new compassion, a revolution is a new heart; a revelation is a different perspective, a revolution is new eyes. It's a complete and total change. Not just more information, but a complete and total transformation in your life.

Today, we're going to talk about ''the revolt.'' Now, the word revolt means ''an organized opposition to authority; a conflict in which one factions tries to wrest control from another.''

This message is about a revolt inside each of us. A revolt to take control away from ourselves and give it completely and totally to God. This revolt does something unique and different inside of us. It removes ''me'' from the throne and places Christ where He properly belongs. Let's take a look at how this revolt revolutionizes our life.

The revolt changes our will: 23

*There are all sorts of descriptions today about the will. Some people are ''weak-willed.'' They can't stand up for themselves, they can't do what they set out to do. They have a difficult time forming an opinion or making a decision. Other people are ''strong willed.'' These people know what they want and they go after it with everything they have. When they set their mind to something it's hard to get them to think about anything else. They are hard-headed, stubborn and set in their ways.*

There are all different types of wills and combinations in between. I've decided to make up a new one. I want to be Christ-willed. In other words, I want His will to be the goal and focus of my life. This is a change in your ambitions your goals and your purpose in life.
