LIVING LIFE TO ITS FULLEST
A STUDY IN COLOSSIANS

SERMON #4 A NEW ADORATION
COLOSSIANS 1:15-20

Intro: Most people I know are really wanting to get the most
out
of life. They are wanting to live life to the fullest. The
only problem is
many are trying to live life to its fullest apart from a
personal relationship
with Jesus Christ. And it is absolutely impossible to live life
to the fullest
apart from Christ. He is what makes our life full and complete.

Col 2:9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in
bodily form, (10) and
you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over
every
power and authority.

The two verses contain the secret to living your life to the
fullest.
They give us two things:
1.The Foundational Truth:
*Jesus Christ is Lord
*Jesus Christ is fully God
*Jesus Christ is the only Eternal, Omnipotent, Omniscient,
Glorious, Righteous, Holy, Perfect, Mighty, Just, Faithful,
True,
Majestic, Almighty God!

2.The Functional Truth:
In Christ and Christ alone your life can be complete, full,
gratifying, and fulfilled.
You see in Christ, everything is brand new. We have already
seen
from Chapter 1 of Colossians that Christ gives us:
1.A New Assignment (Apostles V. 1-2)
2.A New Attitude (Faith, Hope, Love V. 3-8)
3.A New Activity (Prayer V. 9-15)

Now, I want us to see "In Christ We Have A New Adoration."
