You know, I got to thinking about how cool it would be to have a theme song today for our exuberant celebration for the resurrection. I mean, all special occasions, great shows, or big events have a theme song, right? I thought man, we should have a theme song for this day. After much thought, time, and prayer...I came up with this song (play clip of song Stayin' Alive).

Does anyone remember what was going on in their life when that song skyrocketed to #1 in 1977? To be honest, I don't. I was only 9 years old at the time, and wasn't allowed to listen to music like that. But that song is called what? 'Stayin Alive' by the Bee Gees. You gotta love a man with a falsetto voice, right?
Now I've heard that song a number of times over the years, but you know what? I had no idea what the words were except for 'ha, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive', that's it. Anyone else have any clue what he's singing in that song? Well, I decided I'd looked it up because inquiring minds like mine want to know what the Bee Gees have to say about stayin' alive. Listen to these powerful, inspirational, life-changing lyrics (READ LYRICS). (Pound on chest) Wow, gets you right there doesn't it?
With all kidding aside, and with all due respect to the Bee Gees, they don't have a clue about what stayin alive is all about. That song is absolutely no help at all when it comes to truly stayin' alive, right?!!
