GOD'S GIFTS OF GRACE

We are discovering on these Sunday nights: GOD'S
GIFTS OF GRACE! God has given every saint a spiritual
gift to use! And these gifts are for edifying the
saved and evangelizing the lost!
We read in 1 Corinthians 12.12, "For as the body
is one and has many members, but all the members of
that one body, being many, are one body, so also in
Christ."
Verse 27, "Now you are the body of Christ, and
members individually." Every member of the body is
important. Every member of the body has a role to
fill. In fact... Paul says in verse 26, "And if one
member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if
one member is honored, all the members rejoice with
it."
And if you don't believe that... just slam a
hammer down on your thumb! All the members suffer...
amen?
Now some of the members are more visible than
others... but they are all important for the body to
function! And what we need today is some sanctified...
Holy Spirit Synergy (sin-err-gee)! And as we saw last
Sunday night that Synergy means "working together."
The sum total is greater than the total of the separate
parts!
Those in the field of Synergetics tell us that if
we could get all of the muscles in our body to pull in
one direction at the same time that we could lift
several tons of weight!
You talk about the power of teamwork!! That power
multiplies as we work together Exalting the Savior...
Equipping the Saints... and Evangelizing the Sinner!
That's why God gave you a grace gift! So that by
you using your grace gift... and by me using my grace
gift... that together... side by side... shoulder by
shoulder... we can edify the saved and evangelize the
lost!
Our prayer ought to be...:"Lord... give your
church a dose of Sanctified Synergy as we fulfill your
plans and purposes ...
