Tonight we are unwrapping more of GOD'S GIFTS OF
GRACE... so take your gift guide and turn to Romans
12. Paul tells us in verse 4, "For as we have many
members in one body, but all the members do not have
the same function."
We may not all be alike... but we are all needed!
Every member has a place... so where's yours? How are
you using your grace gifts to edify the saved and to
evangelize the lost?
We have some members that are discovering their
gifts! And let me say to you: keep looking! For the
sake of this membership and for the sake of the
lost... we need you to discover your gifts!
We also have some members that are misusing their
gifts. Rather than using them to be a blessing to the
church... they've sold out to the world. And this
world will pay a lot of money for spiritual gifts!
Then we have some members that using their gifts
for the purpose they were given: "for the work of
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ"
(Ephesians 4.12) And I am praying that your tribe will
increase among us!
It will be a great day in your life when you come
to understand that God's plans and purposes for RSBC
will not be completed without you using your grace
gifts within the membership of our church.
God did not give you grace gifts for those gifts
to go unwrapped... unopened... and unused! Romans
12.6, "Having then gifts differing according to the
grace that is given to us, le us use them..."
Use them for what? To promote ourselves? No...
to prosper the church! As toys to play with? No...
as tools to build with!
God has given you grace gifts to use within our
membership... not for you to spectate in the stands!
It is no wonder 80% of churches in America have
plateaued or in decline! They are full of members
that are in the stands rather than in the ...
