Mark 1:1-8

Then - John the Baptist's ministry marked the beginning of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Now - John the Baptist is a model of a Gospel-centered ministry.

INTRODUCTION: We begin this morning a verse by verse study of the book of Mark.
The Gospel - means Good News - Good News of Jesus Christ.

The church can learn some lessons from John. We can learn how to be a Church that is all about Jesus. His life will give us three principles upon which we can build a Church, a family and a life that is all about Jesus!
