Before I begin, I want to take a moment and compliment your Pastor Search Committee. A huge word of appreciation to Russ Alford, Lee Evans, Mike Fowler, Jack Nash, Lee Peacock, Barbara Raines and Patsy Randall. This committee has been extremely thorough, incredibly respectful and has represented your church with the utmost class and dignity and I want you to express your appreciation to them.
Today, I am preaching a message that you would hear in a normal service on a normal Sunday at my church. I'm not pulling out a ''sugar stick.'' This is the sermon that I preached last Sunday evening as our church has been studying the book of Titus. *Peanuts, Money, Bible*
A healthy church is made up of healthy Christians who have experienced the life-changing grace of God. The grace of God. It is offered freely to all who will accept and believe by faith yet it can never be understood or comprehended by those who will accept it.
The law simply points out my weakness and utter helplessness in meeting God's standards, (*level*) but God's grace makes it possible to be accepted by Him. God will only accept those who are righteous in His sight. Yet we are not made righteous by the deeds of the law or the works of the flesh. We are made righteous by the wonder-working power of Jesus Christ and the grace that He brought to mankind.
