Psalm 31:1
Psalm 31:1 To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In You, O Lord, I put my trust; Let me never be ashamed; Deliver me in Your righteousness. 2 Bow down Your ear to me, Deliver me speedily; Be my rock of refuge, A fortress of defense to save me. 3 For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me.
In the midst of men seeking his life, the betrayal of his own son, and the weakness of his own flesh, David puts his trust in the Lord to be HIS ROCK. He says in verse 3, ''For You are my rock and my fortress; therefore, for Your name's sake, Lead me and guide me.'' David was saying because You are steady and sure, faithful and true, because You are MY ROCK (my strength and my fortress of defense), lead me and guide me. Because God is so trustworthy, because He is the God who never changes, because He is faithful, all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving, we look to Him to lead us and guide us through this life successfully.
Proverbs 14:26 In the fear of the Lord there is strong confidence, And His children will have a place of refuge.
The ROCK OF AGES now lives in us, and wants to make us strong, dependable, solid, reliable, trustworthy, steady, sure, confident, consistent and faithful in order that we lead and guide others in this walk of faith.

- Love of God
- Word of God
- Spirit of God
In planting seeds, it is so important to get a good root system in order that the plant grows appropriately. So our roots must go deep and wide in the good soil. They then can tap into the moisture that the tree or plant needs to maintain its livelihood. The HEALTHIER the root, the BETTER the fruit, and the STRONGE ...
