A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of praying for a brother who came up asking for prayer for himself, and as I prayed for him the Lord gave me a picture of a field and in the field the terrain was rugged, not smooth. There was trash and broken bottles in the field. The Lord showed me a farmer who went and saw that field and purchased it, not based on the conditions in the field, but he purchased it based on the potential of what he saw in that field. In his mind's eye, he saw a beautiful farmland and the harvest of produce that would come out of that land. He saw the various plants and fruits and foliage that would be the product of the good seeds that he would sow into that land.

Matthew 13:44 ''Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

YOU ARE GOD'S FIELD

1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building.

You have been purchased by the Lord of the Harvest. He purchased you with His own blood. He ransomed you and redeemed you. You were bought back from the ownership of Satan himself and now you belong to Him! He didn't purchase you based on anything that you have done. He didn't choose you because you were good. He purchased you because He saw the TREASURE in you. And for JOY OVER YOU, came from Heaven to Earth to redeem you for Himself going all the way to the cross so that you would be His!

The same God who created you, loves you and sees the treasure or the potential in you. You were created to not only be His child, but He sees that which would come forth in you that would benefit others. He sees the opportunity that He has through you to bring life to others. When the farmer purchased the field, He began the work of cleaning up the field. He picked up each broken bottle and piece of trash. ...
