The Bible is not only a book of principles to live by; it's a book of promises to stand on! And in this series of messages on the promises of God, we have seen The Location of God's Promises and of course that would be the word of God.

God's word is filled with thousands of promises that are waiting to be claimed by faith! That's why whenever we HEAR God's word taught; we need to Listen for the promise! That's why whenever we READ God's word, we need to Look for the promise. And whenever we come across a promise, whether from hearing or reading God's word, we need to Live by the promise.

Listen for the promise!
Look for the promise!
Live by the promise!

You will never experience the abundant life apart from the promises of God. So we have discovered not only The Location of the God's Promises, we have also discovered The Expression of God's Promises. Every promise expresses God's love and grace to us! And the ultimate expression of God's love and grace is Jesus!

Everything we have or ever hope to have; comes through Jesus! Jesus is not only the Gate of every promise; He is the Guarantee of every promise for ''All the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us'' (2 Corinthians 1.20).

So there's The Location and The Expression of God's Promises, next comes The Provision of God's Promises. Here's the provision of God's promises: they are all trustworthy! God never makes a promise that He doesn't keep.

We've also discovered The Description of God's Promises. God's promises fall into one of two categories: Unconditional or Conditional. Most of His promises are conditional: He says, ''If you do this then I'll do that.''
