In 1964 at age of 22 Mohamed Ali became the heavyweight boxing champion of the world. He was arrogant, boastful and proud of his accomplishment and skills. At a time when most fighters let their managers do the talking, Ali thrived in and indeed craved the spotlight, where he was often provocative. He would make up poems to say about how good a fighter he was for each match. His most famous one poem was:
I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee; I am the greatest, there is nobody like me.
For a period of 17 years from 1964 - 1981 he was the greatest heavyweight boxer in the world as he won the title three times. He was great in the field of boxing, but not in anything else.
Only God is ultimately the greatest because he is eternal.
Psalm 90:2 From everlasting to everlasting you are God. Everyone else is nothing compared to the greatest of God. Three years after he retired from boxing Mohamed Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson's syndrome, a disease that sometimes results from head trauma which boxers experience. He died on June 3, 2016, with a respiratory illness at age 74.

The name which God chose to reveal himself to his people is I AM which is translated into English as: Yahweh or Jehovah. In Exodus 3 Moses is tending his father-in-law's sheep in the desert when he sees a bush on fire, but it does not burn up. As he goes to look at it God speaks to him out of the bush and tells him that he is to bring the people of Israel out of Egypt. Moses asks God what is his name. God replies, ''I AM WHO I AM.''
I AM - Heb. to be or exist meaning without beginning or end. The verb reveals the fact that God is eternal and does not change. Every person had a beginning which we celebrate with a birthday.
