Jonah 4
INTRODUCTION:
When Oliver Cromwell sat for the official portrait that would portray his appearance for future generations, he was said to have instructed the artist to paint him just as he saw him. He wanted no flattery to be involved in the portrait. In Cromwell's words, he instructed the artist to paint him ''warts and all.'' Since that day the phrase, 'warts and all'' has been used to express a desire for a true representation, to show all the good points and the bad.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace!
ILLUS: During WWII The USS Tang surfaced under the cover of darkness to fire upon a large Japanese convoy off the coast of China. The Tang (SS-306) tallied the highest Japanese losses, sinking 24 ships totaling 93,824 tons. Since previous raids had left the American vessel with only 8 torpedoes, the accuracy of every shot was absolutely essential. The first seven missiles were right on target; but when the eighth was launched, it suddenly deviated and headed right back at their own ship. The emergency alarm was sounded, but it was too late. Within a matter of seconds, the US sub received a direct hit and sand almost instantly.
In much the same way we can destroy ourselves by hostility toward others. Modern medicine has shown that emotions like bitterness and rage can cause problems such as headaches, backaches, allergic disorders, ulcers, high blood pressure, and heart attacks, to name just a few. ...
