1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have access (''admission'') by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance (''cheerful endurance'');
4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Trouble. We've all got some don't we? The Bedouins have a saying, ''Sooner or later the black camel kneels at everyone's tent.'' Some have a little and some have a lot but trouble comes to everyone's door sooner or later. I will agree that there are those for whom life seems too easy. Little or no trouble ever seems to visit them. But, I assure you it just seems that way. The lives of those wealthy people who live in that big house on the hill are just as afflicted by trouble as we are. Some are just better at hiding trouble than others.
No one likes trouble or looks forward to facing it. But, just like with any unwelcome visitor it's better to be prepared when trouble arrives than to be unprepared. Any coach of any sport will tell you that a prepared team has a much better chance of winning than one that is not ready.
Look with me this morning at how your faith can overcome your trouble.

1.FAITH FORTIFIES US IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE
