Many times in life we are confronted with decisions we must make in life. Sometimes, the decisions we make will be the difference in success or failure.

Perhaps you can look back in your life and see the decisions you have made has made all the difference in your life.

I remember when, as an eight-year-old boy, I accepted Christ as my Lord and Saviour and that decision has made all the difference in my life.

I remember committing my life to the Gospel ministry as an 18-year-old young man and that decision has made all the difference in my life.

Let's look at three decisions that will make all the difference for your life.

I. The Calendar of Your Life

This means that you are willing to make the decision to allow God to initiate and interpret every event on the calendar of your life.

Notice the ''day of Pentecost.'' God had a reason why He chose the day of Pentecost as the day that He would pour out His Spirit to all who would believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He didn't pick just some day at random -- but He chose this day to pour out the Holy Spirit upon the people.

The word ''Pentecost'' is a Greek word to interpret a feast in the Jewish history -- God shares this in Leviticus 23 -- that on the seventh week on the seventh Sabbath -- there was to be a special offering -- a ''feast of weeks'' which is interpreted ''Pentecost.''

Do you realize that every year - month - day - hour - and minute is written on God's calendar for your life?

God is Sovereign and He has a design and plan for your life. He is in charge of the calendar of your life.

1. Sovereign Calendar of Your Life.

Pentecost didn't sneak up on God. He had determined that on the ''day of Pentecost'' -- following the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus -- that the Holy Spirit would be poured out.
