What an exciting summer we're going to have together in the study of the Word of God! Sunday mornings we're going to continue through the book of Exodus as learn how to say good-bye to bondage and hello to blessing.
Then on Sunday nights we're learning from the book of Acts what it means to be a first century church in this twentieth century world. And how wonderful to know that the church is alive!
And then on Wednesday nights ... we're learning from the book of Philippians the secret of continual joy! And starting Sunday July 27th ... I plan to teach a six week Bible Study class on Sunday morning during the Sunday School hour about Angels. In fact ... I think I'll just call the study: God's Secret Agents!
Now this Bible study is not for you who are presently attending Bible Study on Sunday mornings. It's directed to those who don't attend Bible Study on Sunday morning. There are several who attend the early worship service who do not attend Bible Study at 9:30! I'm going to invite the community to join me for those six weeks!
Now somebody says, "I already attend Bible Study on Sunday morning but I would like to learn more about God's Secret Agents." And you will. I'll come back later and teach the material church wide. But for now ... this class will be for prospects and those people who do not attend Bible Study on Sunday mornings!
What I'm trying to tell you is that this summer is going to be a time for spiritual growth as we study the Bible together and I don't want you to miss a single session! I know that some of you will be gone throughout the summer ... but I want to encourage you to make every effort to get back here on Sundays! You'll be glad you did!
All right ... take your Bible and turn please to Philippians. General Electric Power Company. Galatians .. Ephesians .. Philippians .. Colossians. That's just an easy way to find Philippians. And of ...
