Matthew 15:21-28
Have you ever met someone famous? It can be an exciting experience, can't it? Over the course of my life I've been fortunate to meet a number of popular athletes, actors, and musicians. In 1979 my parents took me to the Major League Baseball All-Star game party in Seattle where I was able to meet some of the best players to ever play the game. A few years later I met my favorite singer at the time, Billy Joel, coming out of a San Francisco airport men's room with security detail lining the wall. Shortly thereafter I met Arnold Schwarzenegger at Universal Studios while he was promoting his film, Conan the Barbarian. I had the privilege of meeting my favorite basketball player, Larry Bird, when I arrived two hours early for a Sonics game. This past month I even met John Stockton at Pita Pit next to Gonzaga.

While we may not have had the privilege of meeting Jesus during His earthly ministry, we can experience the accounts of those who did. 1. Jesus tests the woman's faith (15:21-23). Matthew writes: ''Jesus went away from there, and withdrew into the district of Tyre and Sidon'' (15:21). In 15:1-20 the Jewi ...
