1 Corinthians 12:12
A Message for Encounter Christian Church
My heart for this series is that we would receive the revelation that we weren't meant to do this thing alone. In this dog-eat-dog world, when we feel the pressures of life and even of our own failures and weaknesses, it is so vital to be connected in Christian community and be surrounded with encouragement and strength. Christianity doesn't exist outside of community. The enemy works through isolation. If he can get us on our own, he can defeat us. If he can divide us, he can conquer us. But if we are together, we stand strong. And when we are in UNITY, the enemy flees, the blessing of God is released and the power of God begins to flow.
Let's lay the foundation for the new sermon series BETTER TOGETHER.
- HE CREATED YOU. You were created by God. He knew you and loved you even before you were created in your mother's womb.
Psalm 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
- HE LOVED YOU. He loved you so much that He sent His only Son to die just for you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- HE CALLED YOU. You have been called by God and chosen of Him.
John 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.
- HE BOUGHT YOU. ...
