2 Corinthians 5:15
We are in a brand-new sermon series for the entire month of April called DEATH TO LIFE where we will talk about all the benefits of believing in Jesus. We were lost in sin, but Jesus died to forgive us of all our sins, then He rose to release us from the power of sin. Jesus defied death and sin no longer has dominion over us because when He rose, we rose! WE ARE THE BENEFACTORS OF ALL THAT JESUS WENT THROUGH, ACCOMPLISHED, AND ULTIMATELY DEFEATED IN HIS PASSION, CRUCIFIXION, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION!
He has made us more than conquerors, but He is our Champion. As the Bethel worship song ''You Make Me Brave'' goes,
For You are for us
You are not against us
Champion of Heaven
You made a way for all to enter in

O Death, where is your sting, O grave, where is your victory?
Let's begin in the Garden of Gethsemane according to the Gospel of Matthew:
Matthew 26:36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, ''Sit here while I go and pray over there.'' 37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, ''My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.'' 39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, ...
