31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33 They answered him, we be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

A Pastor had invited a preacher that he knew well to be the guest of a grand and glorious occasion to be held at the church. This preacher had been an acquaintance of his for years, and he knew that his presence would bless the service. He was scheduled to arrive at the airport at a certain time, and the pastor had planned to pick him up, have dinner and then get him to his place of lodging. However, a pastoral emergency arose just a few hours before the preacher was arriving that would demand him to give his attention to.
He now had a friend coming in and an emergency that he needed to handle. He then called one of the men of the church and asked if he could pick up the guest at the airport and get him to the hotel, being the faithful and loyal servant that he was, he consented. He arranged his schedule to take care of the preacher. But just as he made ready to go, he said, Pastor, but I do not know him, I have never seen him. The Pastor replied, yes that is correct isn't! He then said, problem solved Elder, on the secretary desk, is a snapshot of him that he sent that we are using for the bulletin, take that with you.
