Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. ''- Isaiah 43:16-19

Happy New Year!

''A New Year is like a new baby, many changes will be necessary, some of which will be challenging, some rewarding and some will be interrupting.''

That is the challenge of all New Beginnings.

God has seasons for each of us to have new beginnings during our lives.

We need all new beginnings!

In fact God's Nature Dictates A New Beginning.

The Bible is filled with instances of new beginnings.

Just after the time of creation God identified seasons of new beginnings.

Genesis 8:22(NIV): ''As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.''

- After the flood, God set a rainbow in the sky to show that He'd given a new beginning.

- The establishment of Passover was a new beginning.

Exodus 12:2 (NKJV): 2 ''This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you. A new start for Israel after the slavery of Egypt.

- When the Children of Israel crossed over the Jordan river into the land of Canaan, God told them that they had ''not passed this way before.'' He gave them a new beginning.

- David sinned and repented and God gave Him a new beginning.

- Jesus established a New Covenant, which was an opportunity for a new beginning.

- Peter sinned and repented and God gave him a new beginning.

1. One day there will be a new heavens and new earth.

- Every day is a new beginning!
- Every month starts over again as new beginnings
- Every year has new beginnings.
