John 14:16

On week 1, we uncovered the truth that the Holy Spirit is not a New Testament phenomenon, but He is a Person, the third Person of the Trinity, and His presence has no beginning and no end. He was present with the Father and the Son at creation, in Genesis chapter 1, and throughout the Old Testament we see the Holy Spirit coming upon individuals empowering them to do supernatural acts of faith for the glory of God. Last week, we saw how the Holy Spirit was present in demonstration and power in the church, coming as the Promise of the Father, and endowing God's people with supernatural gifts.
